Having played and upgraded a 3018 for the past 2 years, this is a refreshing upgrade for probably less
Money than ive spent historically. High quality, machine goes together well and functions beautifully. Regret not buying before now

It works great! For anoyone looking to get into this hobby you could buy it as is, If you looking into hardwoods or aluminum I would highly recommend getting the 500w spindle as well. The 80w spindle that is comes with doesn't quite keep up with those materials.

As a comparison, I've spent the past couple of years getting increasingly serious about my CNC hobby, starting with a basic 3018 and going through dimensional and hardware upgrades. I've probably invested more into that than the cost of this machine. A joy to assemble, so very well packaged and labeled, immediately appreciated the larger size of the machine, smoothness, build and quality of output. For the money it's a great machine that I expect to work hard and don't anticipate any issues. Highly recommend if you're looking at entry level options, skip the 3018 for sure.
