I purchased the TTS20 Pro engraver, the Air Assist, Rotary Attachment, Risers, and an Engraver Enclosure with Smoke Extraction. Once assembled, the unit works well, though I have not been able to test the Rotary Attachment yet. Assembly was a nightmare. It took me 4 hours to assemble the engraver. My main hang-up was that the Y-axis instructions weren’t clear enough about which way it went, and I had to assemble it and disassemble it and reassemble it several times, even after watching some YouTube videos.
The Air Assist came with zero instructions and a bunch of parts I ended up not needing after using them through trial and error. The real major problem was with the risers, which came with no instructions, and the Rotary tool. For the risers, there were T nuts that were just tossed into the box it came in, which I didn’t know you needed to use, or even what they were, because there were no instructions. Fortunately, I found a YouTube video that gave me a clue as to how to use them.
The Rotary tool, on the other hand, comes with several different wires and comes with zero instructions in terms of attachment to the engraver. Assembly instructions were basically gibberish, and again, it took way too long to assemble it.
So overall, the instructions on how to use these devices I would consider as very poor. However, once I tackled most of these problems minus the Rotary tool, I’ve been satisfied with its function. There is a much steeper learning curve than I imagined, but I am moving up that curve. I’m satisfied now with the device, but again, the instructions on assembly were more than stressful
